With no apparent supervision, home schooled girl ~10 (maybe older) and her slightly older brother performed sale of bale of pine shavings and delivered it to back of my car. She also answered all of my questions about items that they stock. The were both well spoken and very polite. Wow! I believe this is a product of great home schooling and parents giving their children meaningful/purposeful responsibility. GOLDEN STATE HAY ROCKS! We'll be back for sure.

I visited this place for the first time to get a few bales of hay. The hay I purchased was very good quality. They have a nice selection of live stock too. I went inside to pay for my hay and bought a few more things. The store is well stocked with a large selection of things to choose from. Products for horses, dogs,chickens, you name it. This is a nice place, clean and the people are very nice and helpful.

This is where I get my hay and I am always taken really good care of when I come. Customer service is great and they get me in and out fast. I have been purchasing hay from them for 2 years and it is always good quality and I have never had to return a bale once. That says a lot for a feed store because sometimes mold and other things in the hay is hard to avoid during certain times of the year. This means they have a good relationship with the growers they purchase from. Very important. They have many other animal products besides just feed and can give you a lot of information on how to take care of your animals. I love that they are a small family business. Supporting the people that make our community great is so important!

This place is INCREDIBLE the owner was super friendly and knowledgeable. He was honest, gave me advice and set me up. I feel like he really cares about his customers. I will definitely be back! The place was very clean and organized. It's a family owned small business great place. I picked up a hen and supplies I'm new to the organic chicken game but am ready to roll thanks to Golden State Hay!

They carry the high noon 405 that we prefer to feed our fair lambs. Fun to see how they have expanded. Cute stop for country things.

Love this place! They moved to a new location which is much bigger-Barnyard off the Hwy 126. They havel feed, animals and farm supplies and such a great ambiance. Family ran operation and I hope they stay in business.

I got a couple of pullets right before Thanksgiving. They are good hens and the buff orpington has been giving me the best eggs. The French copper Maran is just about to start laying. I also picked up dog food for my German Sheppard and treats for my hens here. I think it is family owned, customer service and prices were great!

Every time I come here I have an outstanding experience. The family owners are always so incredibly kind it’s clear they have huge hearts. The multitude of animals they have (goats, pigs, chickens, dogs, tortoises, etc) are extremely affectionate as well. These are the type of people I like to give business to.
